Quick e-Introductions

Do you ever need to introduce people via email? The process usually involves typing information or going back and forth between the email and the recipients contact cards, copying and pasting at least names, email addresses, phone numbers – maybe more.

In Outlook, an easier way is to:

  1. Open an email, navigate to the body of the email
  2. On the Insert ribbon, in the Include group, select Outlook Item
  3. Outlook Insert - Include - Outlook ItemFrom the window that comes up, select Contact and scroll to select the contact that you want to insert.
  4. Select whether to attach the information as an attachment, or as text in the body of the email before hitting OK.

All of the information about that contact will be either attached or inserted, ready to send!
